AI coding and LLM security

Agentic AI

Agentic AI describes systems where an LLM is given tools (shell access, file editing, API calls), memory, and a goal, then autonomously plans and executes multi-step tasks toward that goal. Agentic systems can call tools repeatedly, branch on results, and operate across long time horizons. They introduce a new vulnerability class: the agent's tool invocations may reflect adversarial input from any context source it consumed.
